Drawing is a natural and spontaneous act through which we reflect, perceive, and experience the world. It is a primary medium through which we not only record reality, but also visualize what transcends our vision, our imagination, and possible futures. Drawing is an act in which there is immediate communication between the eye, hand, and brain, creating the ability to create new worlds. Our drawings reflect three time planes: the past (our experiences), the present (our perceptions), and the future (our visions). Drawing is a process of seeing, visualizing, and expressing.

It is wrong to assume that architecture arises solely from form, function, and technical parameters. For a space to become and exist in human consciousness, it needs its own story. Architecture is therefore created through the story we write and draw rather than through the primary observation of form and function.
