The painting is inspired by the colorful nature that surrounds us in summertime, with its abundance of delicious food that we could enjoy all day long. By painting the rich, vibrant shapes that food offers, I also explore the intensity of watercolor itself, and how its colors might evoke their taste to the viewer.

The third piece in the Garden Series. This time, it captures the sweetness of the apples and pears we collect at late summer, as the seasons begin to change — a perfect conclusion to the series.
